ANNOUNCING YOUR NEW 2017 UNITED ADWORKERS BOARD MEMBERS
EXECUTIVE CREATIVE DIRECTOR – TRACTION FACTORY
Having spent most of his life on, in or near the ocean, Peter enjoys surfing whenever possible. (Not an easy feat from the middle of the country.) When not surfing, he’s managed to earn both national and international recognition for his advertising and design work from every major industry show. Including Communication Arts, Graphis, The One Show, Print Regional Design, the ADDYs, HOW Design International Awards and even Dirt Rider magazine (for Product of the Year).
His experience on such brands as Harley-Davidson, Polaris Snowmobiles and Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches – and his side venture as a self-taught fine artist – has helped shape his creative direction philosophy: to seek out motivated creative talents who are inspired as much by their own life experiences as formal advertising training. And to always give them the green light to swing away in an attempt to knock it out of the park. Come what may.
I love Adworkers because of the strong sense of community it provides. Good people doing good things. There is a unity within this community that is refreshing — Adworkers is the catalyst.
SENIOR COPYWRITER, BADER RUTTER
Tired of the freelance lifestyle, Ryann accepted a fulltime gig and moved to Milwaukee from Chicagoland nearly 6 years ago. Most of that time has been spent at Bader Rutter where, as a Senior Copywriter, she has learned more about agriculture than any kid who grew up in the burbs could have ever imagined. She’s looking forward to diving into the United Adworkers and working to help make it the epicenter of not only good times, but also inspiration.
A few fun facts:
- She has not and will not ever, eat a cheese curd.
- The day the Cubs won the World Series was the happiest of her life
- She says, “pop” not “soda”.
- Don’t let the extra “n” fool you. It’s pronounced like “Ryan”.
SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE, EPIC CREATIVE
Andy is a Social Media Account Executive at EPIC Creative with more than five years experience in the advertising community. He’s worked with a number of agencies in the Milwaukee area including BVK, Laughlin Constable, Platypus and Zizzo Group and has worked with clients in the travel, extreme motor sports, craft beer, turf, snow and ice management industries. Andy is passionate about helping foster communities and has always been an advocate of the events and people surrounding the United Adworkers. He plans to help bring interesting panel discussions to the club throughout the year. While not at work or helping with the Adworkers, he enjoys traveling, amateur photography and craft beer.
ASSOCIATE CREATIVE DIRECTOR – HOFFMAN YORK
While Michael serves many Hoffman York clients, including the Wisconsin Lottery, ManpowerGroup and Wahl, his greatest efforts over the last 16 years have been focused on Yamaha Outboards. His work has been recognized by the Marine Marketers of America and the Association of Marketing Communications Professionals. As Associate Creative Director, Michael helps oversee the creative team and its outgoing work. Whether through art direction or project management, Michael ensures that each piece of creative meets a high standard of quality and achieves its assigned objective. When Michael isn’t at work or playing with his three sons, he enjoys photography, any sport that requires a racket and helping to continue making United Adworkers a fun, educating, social club that everyone enjoys.
YOUR CURRENT 2016 UNITED ADWORKERS BOARD WELCOMES YOU!
