The United Adworkers brings together the advertising and marketing community like no other club by adeptly combining a mix of social events, professional gatherings and an award show that is the only one like it in the state. Our goal is to attract great advertising and marketing talent to the Milwaukee market, nurture young talent and make Milwaukee a haven for the brilliantly creative, the industriously hardworking, and the supremely talented.

This year we already have some exciting events lined up. We are welcoming the great creative insights of Edward Boches, Chief Creative Officer and Chief Social Media Officer of Mullen in Boston on March 25 who will be talking about “Creativity in Social Media.” This summer we are welcoming David Baldwin, former creative director of Mckinney Silver in Durham, North Carolina and present owner of his own company Baldwin&. David will be talking about building a creative company in a small market, you know, like Milwaukee. We are also in discussions with a few others too early to announce.

We will also be hosting some great social events including our classically fun Trivia Night, The Battle of the Advertising Bands, a karaoke night and our legendary golf outing that will be held at a new course — we’ll keep you posted on that.

And lastly, our award show, The Milwaukee 99 for 2010 should be bigger and better than ever — it is the centerpiece of the club and the one true showcase of the talented creatives, great strategists and forward thinking marketing professionals in Milwaukee. Every agency in in our great city should be a part of it.

Membership includes:

  • Discounted admission fees to everything!
  • Opportunities to connect with hundreds of fellow members at various social events.
  • A feeling of superiority over people in markets such as Chicago, Minneapolis, and Madison (to name a few) that have interest in being part of this club or have inquired when we were coming to their markets.
  • Becoming a better lover. Through Adworkers, you will become more inspired in your work, which means less tension at the office, which leads to less stress at home and ultimately a more confidence in the bedroom (or whatever room you may be partial to).

For all of these reasons, and several we aren’t legally allowed to list, download the 2010 Membership Form. Email, fax, mail it, whatever you prefer doing and if you have any questions along the way, don’t hesitate to contact our Director, Heidi Sterricker at heidi@adworkers.com.
