GMR’s Best-of-Show Wrench is Traveling the World
It’s incredible that two months have passed since the 2012 Milwaukee 99 Awards show.
GMR Marketing won Best-of-Show for a campaign it developed with FX to officially launch the first season of American Horror Story. As is tradition, GMR was awarded the signature 20-pound Best-of-Show wrench. Rather than display it in a static showcase back at the office, GMR decided to celebrate the honor by having the wrench travel the world and document its adventure along the way via social media. Each day GMR employees take the wrench on a different journey that is captured and shared out via Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter with the #YearoftheWrench hashtag.
To date, the wrench has taken a ride on the Johnsonville Big Taste Grill, appeared at various client events, and is currently in London with GMR Marketing’s UK office visiting iconic landmarks, including Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar Square.
