Join us as we partner with Bader Rutter, Hoffman York and Milwaukee Brewing Company and welcome Lynette Xanders of Wild Alchemy to Milwaukee to share her expertise on “How to Create a Killer Creative Brief.”

The event will be hosted at the new Hoffman York office on Thursday, February 9th. After Lynette’s training, Hoffman York will be giving agency tours so we can reminisce about all the time we spent in that incredible building as the Eisner Museum of Advertising and Design. Beer provided by Milwaukee Brewing Company!

Due to the popularity of this event and limited space available, this is a United Adworkers Member Only Event. Reserve your ticket below via Eventbrite. Plans change? Make sure you cancel your ticket if you’re not able to attend.

KILLER BRIEFS

  • What it’s about and why you should care
  • Design you Headspace
  • Core Elements You Need to Express
  • Best Practices and Common Ills
  • Toolbox of Better Thinking and Expressing

“80% of my clients’ problems can be resolved with a killer brief.”

Briefs are one of the most transformative pieces we can create.  They can drive culture as much as exceptional creative work. They can drive efficiency and effectiveness and allow teams to have much more fun in the process.  Even if you currently write briefs, or think you write amazing briefs, I guarantee you’ll discovery something in this session that you can use to amplify your thinking, writing and/or briefing that will help you design a brief that will get your creative team to fall in love with the project (and your customer with your brand).

Killer Briefs covers how to approach the thinking, writing and process that can accelerate good ideas and lead to greater success.  It has been designed and honed over many years (with hands-on work with many excellent ad agencies and design firms) to provide ideas and tenets that will help creative developers break out of mediocrity and madness in order to create something amazing.

Lynette Xanders

ABOUT LYNETTE XANDERS | CEO + CHIEF STRATEGIST | WILD ALCHEMY, INC.

We believe that brand strategies, cultural alignment, creative expressions and consumer insights are inextricably intertwined. And business success is tied to turning key dials across these levers (as opposed to completely changing just one of them). Ultimately, we grow businesses by providing a sound roadmap and the right kind of inspiration to generate momentum whether our client needs a drastic ‘fix’ or a catalyst to help overcome a plateau. In short, we help companies optimize to enable them to create something amazingSM.  Our first-year results for clients across a wide range of sizes and types proves that sometimes winning big doesn’t have to take a long time if you’re committed to moving in a focused direction.
Lynette Xanders has culled her strategic expertise through 20+ years at some of the most creative and strategically notable US and Canadian advertising agencies (Cole&Weber, DDB Seattle, BFS/Chiat Day, BBDO Vancouver and The Richards Group), before becoming an external partner for some of the biggest and best brands in North America (Nike, Adidas, KEEN, LucasArts, SONOS, Virgin, E&J Gallo) as well as smaller passion-brands (Whole Foods, Nordstrom, Deschutes Brewery, Salt & Straw and Outward Bound). A full client list is available at wildalchemy.com.

In addition to being an experienced moderator and brand strategist, Lynette conducts training workshops for agencies, design firms and companies like Patagonia, Columbia and Simple Bank. She and her family live in Sisters, OR to appease their skiing and elbow-room problem.
