A New Website! Already?
We’ve heard your comments, suggestions and complaints. Now we’re doing something about it. We’re centralizing our output. So what does that mean for you?
- As you can see, we’re taking our monthly newsletter and incorporated it into the site. Don’t expect a PDF in your inbox anymore.
- Do you have trouble remembering when an Adworker event is or how much it costs? Do you no longer have the PDF newsletter with that priceless bit of information in it? Worry no more, you don’t have to call us. We have a built-in event calendar. You don’t even have to come back here to check it (though we hope you do) because you can subscribe to it through iCal. Just click the little feed icon located above the name of the month and you’ll have no excuse for missing anything.
- You’ll be able to check softball and bowling scores here as well. They’ll probably even be up to date!
- We have a Flickr account now too. You probably noticed the photos in the middle. Those will always be from the latest Adworker event (that we have pictures from). So you can see everything you missed when you weren’t there, physically or soberly. Be sure to check out our full Flickr feed by clicking the link under the pics. There may only be a few events up so far, but we’ve got a lot of good stuff planned for the coming year. In addition to our personal account, we’ve set up an Adworkers Flickr group. If you have your own Flickr account, you can join our group and have your photos fed into the site as well.
- Advertise with the advertisers. We’re accepting banner ads for the site now, just contact Heidi (heidi@adworkers.com) for details.
- We’re also opening up. In the past our communications have been one way. Now you can get in on the act. Feel free to comment on anything we’ve posted. In fact, we encourage you too. It’s the best way to tell us what you think.
Speaking of commenting, this site is brand spanking new, so if you come across a mistake or find a way to break it, please let us know. We’ll be looking for those things ourselves over the next few days, but it always helps to have help. Contact BenGray (benjaming@bvk.com) with anything you find or with any suggestions on what we could do better here.

Get over yourself, Ross. Gee wiz.
