Mad Men

About six months ago I referenced a Mad Men campaign in one of my letters regarding the obvious importance of a strong core idea in creative. I believe I further plugged the show by saying, “If you’re not watching it you should be.” I still agree with both statements. So much so, we’re bringing in the advertising consultants from the show to prove it. Yes, the actual guys that get to come up with the campaigns that the shows plots and subplots revolve around. The guys that help put the words in Don Draper’s mouth. The guys that help make Don Draper so damn dapper. It’s events like this that allow me to say, without hyperbole, that this is the best ad club in the universe! More information to come.
